Weekly catch up
This week the badgers have been very busy learning all about their different features, using mirrors to identify their hair colour and eye colour. The children have also painted their very own self portraits, very creative!
Yesterday, we had our first foundation stage visit to the church. The children were so sensible for the whole visit, with a great understanding of road safety. In the church, Mrs. Chapman set the children a challenge to find 'God's treasure' in the church. The children showed great enthusiasm and enjoyed exploring the different areas inside the church.
Next week, we will be looking at different families and reading the book 'We are Family' by Patricia Hegarty. Please can the children bring a picture of themselves with their family, this will support discussion as we teach the children about different types of families.
Additionally, next week the school will be hosting an expectations meeting on Monday (23rd) afternoon at 2:30pm in the school hall. We will be discussing the different areas of the curriculum. Please come along if you are able.
