I say it each week but we have had another lovely week!
This week the children have enjoyed exploring the colour blue – as some of you may notice when your child comes home, we do try our best to keep them clean but sometimes it seems an impossible task!
Next week our colour focus will be green..
We have completed our two-week focus on the Nursery Rhyme Hickory Dickory Dock and will have a new one for the next two weeks – Hey Diddle Diddle.
As usual the nursery rhymes can be shared at home and will be sent home as a paper copy.

Already today we have enjoyed some colouring of Pudsey Bear activities for Children in Need, thank you to everyone who has donated.
During our playing with parachute we have enjoyed lots of singing and some ‘drama games’ which build on anticipation and sequencing by anticipating what will happen next, such as parachute games using ‘Ready steady go’ or 5,4,3,2,1 …. Blast off. ‘Ready Steady Go’ is something you could do at home and see if your child anticipates before the final pause and indicates ‘go’ in some way.
Under our Attention and Understanding we have been focussing on helping the children to develop understanding of routines to be able to anticipate what will happen next in the familiar contexts within the school day.
Thank you to everyone who has responded to the forms link regarding the school trip – we are all really looking forward to the visit and will be sure to take lots of photographs.
Have a great weekend.
