Weekly round up
What a strange weather week we have had. Our walk around Driffield to look at the places mentioned in the account of The Great Flood will now take place on Wednesday 27th. Hopefully no snow or ice this time!
We have now finished our maths section on addition and subtraction within 10 and next week we will be looking at 2D & 3D shapes and patterns.
Those alternative spelling of diagraphs are coming thick and fast . Next week it will be e-e with words such as even, these, complete, ew (making a oo/yoo sound) in words such as new, stew, blew, ie (making an ee sound) field, shriek, belief and finally aw (or sound) and words such as draw, claw, straw, crawl.
We will be continuing to look at sorting different materials to a given criteria, writing facts about the flood, retelling the story of Cinderella and programming the Bebots.
I am not in school much of next week and Mrs.Dixon is looking forward to taking the class. Have a good weekend.
Starfish Team.
