Driffield Church Of England Voluntary Controlled Infant School

Last week, the Seals thoroughly enjoyed their 'Christmas Around the World' day. In the morning, they investigated the customs and traditions of Romania ( a special thank you to a particular class member and family for the excellent information). Highlights were deciding what we would hope for, in our boots, if St Nicholas visited us, creating our own mini stars for the Star Carol and designing scary goat masks for the Capra (goat) dance to frighten evil away! In the afternoon, the Seals  moved to Poland where they made traditional Christmas decorations and homemade sweet treats (Thank you, Mrs. Gallant!). What fun we had and what a lot we learned!
