Bumblebee Class13 December 2024 (by schoollogin) |
We have packed lots in this week - so I imagine you will have some tired children on your hands!
The pantomime on Monday was enjoyed by some of the Bumblebee children and all of the Bumblebees went to All Saint's Church on Wednesday to see the Christmas trees at the tree festival. Next week we are all going to the Methodist Church to see the trees that they have on display (including the baubles we decorated in The Hive for them to display) and meeting Katie Russell the family play worker there. Tuesday is the day that some of the children are going to All Saint's to watch The Year One and Year Two children in the Nativity dress rehearsal.
We hope that those of you who came to out Wriggly Nativity had a great time and enjoyed it. In school we are all so proud of the children as it can be quite daunting standing up in front of so many people (I can personally vouch for that!) If you ordered any of the photographs they will come home with your child at the beginning of next week.
With only one week left we have lots still to fit in including our party on Monday morning (so please feel free to send your child in party clothes, remembering that we will still be playing outside) Methodist Church visit is Monday afternoon. On Wednesday it is Christmas jumper day so please send your child wearing a Christmas jumper (if they have one) and a £1 donation please.
The nursery rhyme remains the same - Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and the colour of the week next week is pink.
The topic for Spring One is 'Let's Explore' - which we are all excited about. We have a new sand pit in the outdoor area which we are looking forward to using!
We hope you all have a lovely weekend.
Mrs Lee and The Hive Team.
