What a fantastic week!
This week has been non-stop and the children have enjoyed many special events throughout the week. We started on Monday morning with a visit from a pantomime company. The children watched a very entertaining version of Jack and the Beanstalk, they all sat beautifully and joined in with the clapping, booing and singing!
On Tuesday afternoon, the children performed their dress rehearsal for the rest of the school and some children from local preschool providers. They were fantastic and sang and danced their way through the performance. The local newspaper came to take photographs of the groups of children, so look out for them appearing in the paper soon.
We hope that you managed to come along yesterday to watch the performance of Wriggly Nativity. I'm sure you will agreed with us when we say the children were 'superstars!' I had a big smile on my face all the way through the performance and I was so proud of all the children. Thank you for your help with providing clothes from home to wear under the children's costumes.
We have one more treat for the children this afternoon, when a 'special visitor' is coming to school with his sleigh. He will bring a little gift for all the children, which they will bring home this afternoon.
Next week is again very busy, with special events and Christmas treats:
Tuesday pm - EYFS Christmas party (please see the letter from school with more details - send your child to school with their party clothes in a named carrier bag on the day of the party)
Wednesday - Christmas Jumper Day and Christmas dinner (please bring £1 for wearing your Christmas jumper)
Friday - End of term service in church.
Have a lovely weekend and thank you for your continued support,
Mrs Dean & Miss Wain
