Mrs Sanders and I were extremely happy to have our Seals back yesterday; all smiley and happy for the start of the New Year!
This half-term, our focus book is 'Katie Morag and The Two Grandmothers' by Mairi Hedderwick. We will be using this to help us write postcards and letters, as well as develop our map and compass skills in Geography. In DT, we will be creating a vehicle to transport a sheep around the Island of Struay! In science, we will be learning about the different classifications of animals.
We are excited to get started with our new topics. Here is some of the Seals' initial work, identifying the wheels. chassis and axels on a toy car, in DT, when exploring how vehicles move.
