The Seals have been excited to start their new focus book of the half-term: Paddington-The original story of the bear from darkest Peru.

Over the next few weeks, they will be exploring the humour in the book, using it as inspiration to write their own Paddington adventure and as a starting point to help them learn how to write a series of instructions.

In Geography, linked to the story, the Seals will be investigating London as the capital city of England, then learning about the capital cities and features of all four countries of the UK.

Having previously studied Hockney's landscapes, the Seals will now turn their attention to the seascapes of Van Gogh.

There is lots of exciting learning ahead!
