Bumblebee Class News14 March 2025 (by schoollogin) |
We have had another busy week in The Hive!
Our activities linked to National Science Week were a particular hit- the children thoroughly enjoyed their time with the visiting lamb and had lots of fun with the wibbly wobbly jelly.
Next week, we have even more exciting guests joining us! Look out for Peach, the South American Chaco Owl, Big Jeff the Burmese Python, Bean the Ackie Monitor Lizard, Kevin the Pac-man frog, and Morris the Sphynx cat, amongst other wonderful creatures. I can’t wait to capture these moments, so expect to see some lovely photos!
Thank you for your contributions on Tapestry. We do appreciate your engagement and enjoy sharing your child's day-to-day experiences with you, your comments and feedback are always welcome.
In terms of our Maths learning next week we will dive into Triangles, which will continue into the following week, now that we have completed our focus on Circles. Additionally, our number song for the week will be "Five Little Ducks." Please take a moment to share this song with your child at home. You can listen to it here: Five Little Ducks - BBC School Radio.
We will also be introducing a new nursery rhyme next week, "Down at The Station." While it may be a less well-known rhyme, it's one I really like. You can find it on the Little Wandle website.
Finally, you will find a paper egg template in your child's book bag for them to decorate, either with paints, crayons, collage etc.Siblings and adults can get involved in this creative activity with the Bumblebee's
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend!
