Driffield Church Of England Voluntary Controlled Infant School

We have had another lovely week and have enjoyed the sunshine that we have had (not so much the hail!) We are really enjoying being in the EYFS back playground as well as our own front garden.

We started the week with another visit to The Methodist Church to explore some of the sensory elements they have there - Katie always makes us feel really welcome and we love playing in the open space. Our Messy Monday's are proving a real hit and the children are loving the sensory experiences it provides. Wellbeing Wednesday looked at feelings or happy and sad and in PE on Thursday the children enjoyed some Yoga!

We have come to the end of the two weeks of Down at The Station and next weeks rhyme will come home on Monday. This week we have also really enjoyed 'Five Little Ducks went Swimming One Day' as well as 'Five Little Men in a Flying Saucer' as part of our Maths work.

Next week some of us will be going to the Easter Service in Church on Friday - so that will be nice as we do like to get out and about when we can. 

We are going to be doing some planting of seeds next week as part of the work we are doing on 'Let's Grow'
