Bumblebee Class

4 April 2025 (by schoollogin)

It is hard to believe that we have reached the end of another term and the children are now 2/3 of the way through this academic year. As the warmer weather is approaching, we would like to ask parents to ensure they send a sun hat into school, if you are happy for us to keep the hat in school please let us know otherwise we will (try to) send it home after school daily. We would also like to remind parents that ideally all children need a water bottle in School. We will be starting the Summer Term with our new topic and are very excited about that.

Thank you to the parents who engage regularly on Tapestry. It is lovely to see your comments and responses as well as things that the children have done during their time when they are not at school. Your child will have brought home their container with the cress seeds in. We ask that you please upload a picture of your child with the cress (once it has grown) onto Tapestry so that we can use these in the classroom. Our Maths songs this week have been very popular and are 'Five Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed' and 'Five Little Men in a Flying Saucer'.

We will be starting next half term with a new Nursery rhyme but please keep listening to previous ones at home through Little Wandle. We have more visits planned to the Methodist Church, the children who attended All Saints Church today had great time and enjoyed the singing. We will also be visiting Elmswell Farm again next half term (more information will be given nearer the time)
We hope you have a fantastic Easter with your friends and family and we look forward to an exciting Summer Term.
